Default Adding drivers to UBDR with Media Builder

To add a driver to UBDR using Media Builder you need to do the following:

1. In the "C:\Program Files\UltraBac Software\UltraBac\MBResources\Device Drivers" folder create a folder named for the driver you intend to add, for instance "drivername", this would give you the directory "C:\Program Files\UltraBac Software\UltraBac\MBResources\Device Drivers\drivername"

2. Once you have created this directory, within it, create 2 more folders. The first folder is named AMD64 and the second folder is named X86.

3. Within the first folder you created "drivername" in the example above you need to create a text file and name it either AMD64.txt or X86.txt. The text file you will add depends on the version of UBDR you are building(32bit ISO is X86 and 64bit ISO is AMD64). Within this text file you will add the name of the driver .inf file(drivername.inf) you are adding support for.

4. Within the folder that describes the ISO you are building X86 or AMD64, you will add the driver files(typically drivername.inf and drivername.sys).

5. Use Media Builder to create UBDR ISO

Folder Structure:
Where "drivername" is the name of your driver
C:\Program Files\UltraBac Software\UltraBac\MBResources\Device Drivers\drivername
C:\Program Files\UltraBac Software\UltraBac\MBResources\Device Drivers\drivername\X86
C:\Program Files\UltraBac Software\UltraBac\MBResources\Device Drivers\drivername\AMD64

Text File:
Either A or B -
A. C:\Program Files\UltraBac Software\UltraBac\MBResources\Device Drivers\drivername\X86.txt
B. C:\Program Files\UltraBac Software\UltraBac\MBResources\Device Drivers\drivername\AMD64.txt
