Default Security ID Problem Upon Restore

Windows 7 Pro 64
UB 9.2.3
UBDR Gold 6.0.3

My own system crashed last night and so I had to do a restore. Everything went well, except that upon reboot Windows insisted on a chkdsk of D drive. All the files had an invalid security ID, so Windows replaced all the security IDs with the default one. I imagine that this bug has already been fixed and would therefore like to know what to do.

Hello Transpower,
There are no known issues or bugs with UBDR changing security ID's. If you had a drive failure, it is possible that the backup itself was affected by the cause of the system failure.

Windows running the chkdsk is the result of UBDR writing the data back exactly the way it was when the volume was backed up. I have seen this in the past and there is nothing that can be done except trying to restore an older backup that hopefully is not affected by the same issue.

Default OK

OK, replacing the security IDs for drive D takes a considerable amount of time; otherwise, everything seems to work fine. I use ReImage so I know that all the Windows files are correct. For an image backup, it's hard to see how the security IDs would change upon a restore. I'm able to change the security IDs to whatever I want after reboot--so there's no corruption here.

transpower,
just to let you know, our Image agent doesn't even look at files, nor do we open them. We essentially backup 1's and 0's at a sector level, so I am unsure how any changes could have been made to files or security of said files by copying them and writing them.

I will send a message to development to see if they have any thoughts on this though.
