Default Cannot cancel scheduled backup

Hi, we have a scheduled backup that runs once a week. It backs up a couple of Macintosh computers. However, the backup is taking a long time to complete. So, I went into the Scheduler in Ultrabac 8 and stop. The backup keeps starting again!

Are you trying to stop the scheduled backup from running? or are you just trying to cancel the current backup that is running?

If you are trying to stop the current running backup, and the kill/abort option is not working. Then open up Windows task manager and kill the ub.exe process.

If you are trying to stop the scheduled job from running. Open the scheduler, and open the scheduled group. Once you have opened the properties of that group, go into the dates tab. You then will see a line that shows the start time. There will be a box next to that, click that to remove the "X" then select the Ok button. This will disable the job from running again.
