Default Cannot validate the SQL Server

I'm attempting to create a SQL Agent job. Every time I add a server to the Server List, I get the error "Cannot validate the SQL Server ***********, do you still want to add it to the SQL Server list. My job therefore throws an error every time I attempt to run it. I have sufficient permissions.

I'm using Ultrabac 9.1.1 on a Win Server 2003 32-bit box and SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise 64-bit on Win Server 2008 Standard 64-bit.

Why can I not get Ultrabac to "see" this SQL Instance?

Ricko,
please be sure that a full copy of UltraBac is installed on your SQL server. Also, be sure that both the firewall and the firewall service are disabled, or that you have made the appropriate exceptions for UltraBac to pass through it. If you have a non-default sql instance installed, please be sure you add it to the list via the named instance by "server name"\"instance name."

If this does not do the trick, please call UltraBac technical support at 425-644-6000.

Thank you.
