Default IP Configuration in UBDR

If you need to specify what IP address to use or if you are unable to connect to your DHCP server, you can manually set your ip address in UBDR. There are 2 ways to set the ip address manually, you can use the initial configuration screen or you can set it at command line.

To open a command prompt in UBDR go to: Tools>UBDR>Command Prompt

To view your IP config at command line you can use:

netsh interface ip show config

To manually set your IP address at command line you can use the following command:

netsh interface ip set address name="Local Area Connection" static 192.168.0.100 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1 1

Change 192.168.0.100 to your desired IP, 255.255.255.0 is your subnet mask, and change 192.168.0.1 to the IP address of your gateway.
