Question Tape library suddenly switched from media to slot based

UB 8.3.1 build 679, planning on upgrading to 9.x very soon.

Was doing some device cleanup when after deleting an unused disk backuppath and exiting devices, the tape library showed up as slot based. It's been media based since UltraBac was installed.

Tried doing a Library Configuration and it just sits at the moving all media from drives, with 0% CPU for ubui.exe. How do I get it back to media based?

Thanks,
JDG

can i have you go to c:\program files\ultrabac software\ultrabac8\data

in there you should see some files that have the name of your media pool and end with .ini

if you do not see them, then you would need to go back to UltraBac and click on the library button, and once in the library screen, you will need to recreate the media pools.

The .ini files are there.
When in the library screen it says "Slot Based Library" now. I don't think it said that before, but maybe it did. I can still assign media pools and UltraCopy will let me use a media pool. I guess everything is okay.

Thanks for the reply,
JDG
