Default Command line restore

We are trying to setup a batch job to perform a scheduled restore on Computer B of files taken from Computer A.

It looks like the ub command line restore only works when the backup is from the same machine, but when restoring files from another computer we got an error:

See http://www.ultrabac.com/kb/error.asp?error=2243 for additional information.

Which we cannot find on the knowledge base.

Are we doing something wrong?

Thanks,
QGLF

The user AdminUserAccount has no rights on the folders to restore.
Backup is performed using the Ultrabac Management Console.

Thank you.

Hi,

I think the issue you are experiencing is due to invalid entry in the autorestore.inf.

You need to specify a valid account so it can connect to the backup location. If this is a local drive, please leave the account fields blank and try the restore again.

Thanks!

Hi Derek,

we are currently using Ultrabac 8.1 and trying to create a one-shot script to move a lot of files from one server to another, preserving file system permissions.

Where is this autorestore.inf file located?

Thanks for your help,
QGLF
