Default Error trying to install agent to server

I'm trying to install the Image Disaster Recovery Agent to a server on my network and I'm getting the error..

Connecting to VM01 failed with error (10060 - A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established a connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.). Do you want to enter a different account to use?

It doesn't matter if I use the admin account to connect or not I still get the same error message.

I can however browse from my backup server to the server with the issue so it's not a connectivity issue.

It's a Vmware server which is running multiple virtual servers that I'm trying to load the agent to.

Any help and/or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

That error is most commonly caused by a firewall blocking port 1910. For the install Please disable the firewall or do a local install and add exclusions for Port 1910 Tcp, Ub.exe and Ubms.exe. If you are still having issues, please contact our support team at 425-644-6000 or at Support@UltraBac.com

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply.

The firewall is off on that machine and while I was able to do a local install of the needed files the Ultrabac software still cannot connect.

I'll contact support.
