![]() Possible Causes
1. The UltraBac Medium Changer Driver is not currently installed. 2. Current default device is not set to tape associated with the library. Resolution Install Medium Changer Driver From the device manager right-click on the medium changer and choose update driver. Choose browse for driver software, let me pick from a list and then have disk. From that point browse to >Program Files>UltraBac Software>UltraBac>Drivers>Win2k for 32bit machines and Drivers>x64 for 64-bit machines. The file is named mchgr.inf. Change Default Device In the UltraBac Management Console click on Manage>Storage Devices>Tape. Click on the tape drive that is associated with the library and click close. This will set the device as default.
