Backing up Exchange 2003 Servers

When backing up Microsoft Exchange Servers we recommend a full UltraBac install be done on the Exchange Server.

If you do not have the Exchange Tools installed on your backup server, UltraBac will be unable to enumerate the Exchange 2003 Databases which is necessary to create a backup set.

In order to create a backup set you can either:

1. Install the Exchange Tools on the backup server
2. Create the backup set on the exchange server, and copy it to the backup server in the UltraBac Software\UltraBac\Data folder.
