Default Screen resolution

Is there a way to change the screen resolution using ubdr gold? Default screen resolution on restore is 640x480, this makes it difficult to see the back/next/cancel buttons.

Unfortunately not. On most systems the UBDR environment is able to detect that 800x600 is possible and it uses that. Since UBDR does not use custom drivers for the particular graphics hardware in use, it is not able to use some of the higher resolutions. There are some ways to force the higher resolutions, but this can make it fail to boot at all. Make sure that your system's BIOS (and the graphic card BIOS) are up-to-date -- this can allow UBDR to detect 800x600 if available.

Yes to this.
Forcing the resolution can work on some machines, and on others cause WinPE to fail to boot. You can look here for more info but UltraBac does not support modifying your own .iso
