Default allocation size of backup files

Is there a way in Ultraback to specify an initial allocation size of a backup file. For example, if backups typically result in a final file size of x, have UB on creation of the backup file pre-allocate a size of y - to avoid the small incremental growth of the backup file and fragmentation of the file due to the small incremental growth.

Hi,

UltraBac does have the ability to change the file size. When you create a backup path you will see an option for "file limit". It is not recommended to go above 1048mb, as it needs to load these files in memory to do the restore.

As for pre-allocating disk space, UltraBac does not have an option to do this.

If you have any further questions please let us know!
